Crisis Communications Planning

In today’s world, something can go wrong at any time despite the best prevention and avoidance plans and protections.  One need not search very far to see examples of such disasters:  Hurricane Katrina, the events of 9/11, betrayal of trust by corporate and political leaders or  a strike or product recall.  The degree to which an organization plans and implements its crisis response, including how well it communicates with significant publics, can determine the future of the organization.
